# In-home ABA

## What in-home ABA looks like with us.

With in-home ABA, a behavior technician comes to your home and works one-on-one with your child. Every program is designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Home is where many important skills happen: mealtimes, getting dressed, bedtime, playing with siblings, waiting, and asking for help. Practicing right there makes it easier for those skills to stick.

- Children who learn best in a familiar, comfortable space
- Families who want help with specific home routines
- Children for whom getting to a clinic is hard right now
- Families who want siblings and caregivers involved in practice

## A typical session.

Every child's plan is different, so sessions vary. Here's the general shape of one.

1. ### Arrival and check-in

   The therapist checks in with you about the day and anything new.
2. ### Skill practice

   Goals from your child's plan are practiced through play and short, fun activities.
3. ### Real routines

   The therapist helps your child practice during actual routines, like a snack or getting ready to go out.
4. ### Wrap-up note

   You hear how the session went and what to keep practicing.

## How families take part.

- An adult caregiver is usually home during in-home sessions
- Tell us which routines matter most to your family
- Watch, ask questions and try strategies with support
- Meet regularly with your BCBA for parent training

In-home sessions depend on where you live and therapist availability. Tell us your city or town when you reach out and we'll let you know what we can offer.
