A New Mexico practice

A nest for growing

Nido ABA is a New Mexico practice providing family-centered ABA therapy for children. We believe every child deserves care that's kind, individualized and built around their family.

nido

NEE-dohSpanish for nest

Look closely at our logo: a bigger circle and a smaller one, held together in a woven nest. That's a family and a child, supported while they grow.

Why we chose a nest.

A nest is built twig by twig. It's warm, it's safe, and it exists for one reason: to help little ones grow strong enough to fly on their own.

That's how we think about ABA. We build skills step by step, in a setting where your child feels safe and supported, with the goal that those skills carry into school, family life and the community.

And a nest is never built alone. Parents, caregivers and our clinical team work on it together.

How we work with children and families.

  • Individualized

No templates. Every plan starts with an assessment of your child and the goals that matter to your family.

  • Positive reinforcement

We build skills by noticing and celebrating what's working, and by following your child's interests.

  • Family on the team

Parents and caregivers help set goals, join sessions and learn strategies through parent training.

  • Small caseloads

Our goal is to keep caseloads small, so your child's BCBA knows them well and has time for your questions.

Led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Our clinical team is led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). BCBAs assess each child, write and oversee every treatment plan, and lead parent training.

Behavior technicians work one-on-one with children during sessions, under BCBA supervision, following the plan your family helped shape.

  • BCBAs

Assess, plan, supervise and coach parents.

  • Behavior technicians

Work one-on-one with your child during sessions.

What we hold onto.

  • Kindness first

Every interaction should leave a child and family feeling respected and cared for.

  • Dignity and comfort

We watch for a child's comfort and willingness to take part, and adjust when something isn't working.

  • Plain talk

Clear explanations, no jargon. You should always understand your child's plan.

  • Partnership

You know your child best. We bring the clinical expertise, and we work on it together.

  • Steady growth

Small steps add up. We celebrate each one along the way.

  • Rooted in New Mexico

We're a New Mexico practice, here to serve New Mexico families.
